The locating ring surrounds the sprue bushing and is used for locating the mold in the press platen concentrically with the machine nozzle.
A ring-shaped part installed on the top of a mold to accurately align the injection nozzle of the injection molding machine and the entrance of the sprue bush as well as the hole on the cavity adaptor plate and the center of the sprue bush.
Some molding machines can align the center by aligning the gutter of the cavity plate to the molding machine, by which a locating ring will not be required; but normally a locating ring is used.
This is the small sprue bushing for injection molding.
Features:
1. Applicable molding machine specifications: 90T- 450T nozzle mechanical hole
2. Suitable for small nozzle standard mold base series
3. Advantages introduced:
A. The positioning ring and the nozzle are concentric, and the injection nozzle never leaks.
B. Effectively shorten the length of the material head, reduce the cost of waste materials, and facilitate molding
C. Standard design and manufacture, fast delivery, economical and practical
D. The material used: chrome steel
E. Can be customized according to the actual specifications and special requirements of the mold
The sprue bushing locating ring picture:
DGMF's Sprue Bushings feature a high-conductivity, corrosion-resistant, copper-based alloy bushing body with a hardened 420 stainless steel nozzle seat insert. The Sprue Bushings reduce sprue cooling time and cycle time. The product's stainless steel nozzle seat provides wear resistance and insulates to reduce the transference of heat from the machine nozzle to the sprue area.
