How to install a workpiece on a milling machine?

There are five main ways to install the workpiece on the milling machine.

1. Use flat-nose pliers to install small and regular-shaped workpieces. Use this method for installation, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Installation with mold clamps For larger or special-shaped workpieces, the mold clamps, and clamping bolts can be directly installed on the working table of the milling machine, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Clamping tool installation Use various simple and special clamping tools to install the workpiece, as shown in Figure 3, which can improve production efficiency and processing accuracy.

4. Use indexing head to install and mill a variety of workpieces that require indexing work, which can be installed with the indexing head, as shown in Figure 4.

5. Installation with a circular turntable

When milling workpieces with curved surfaces, they can be mounted on a circular turntable, see Figure 5.
